A small business owner for more than 30 years, Pam founded PEAK Public Relations in 1990 and Bales Communications, Inc. in 2008. Pam recently retired as President & CEO of the West Metro Chamber and the West Metro Chamber Foundation, moved to Colorado Springs and launched her new business – Pikes Peak Public Relations.

A journalist from Ball State University, she has handled public relations and special events for a wide range of clients including Lennar Homes, E-470, C-470, The Denver Home Builders Association, The Rocky Mountain News, The West Metro Chamber and many others. Recent clients include the Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber, CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties, North Magazine, The Colorado Springs Magazine and LaDawn Sperling Real Estate.

She presently serves on the Board of Directors for Foothills Credit Union and is a member of the Southern Colorado Women’s and Tri-Lakes Chambers of Commerce. She is an active supporter of several nonprofits and is the first Saturday gift shop volunteer for Craig Hospital. Pam lives in the Springs with her significant other, their dog and cat.
